With nearly 20 years of experience, Jon Gombotz is a skilled construction management professional. At CSG, Jon has been involved in a wide array of projects in both the public and private sectors, tapping into his skills in contract negotiation and construction administration. Most recently, Jon has worked at Naramake Elementary School in Norwalk, Connecticut, a project undertaken as part of CSG’s overall project management program with the City of Norwalk. Jon’s been involved primarily with the 1,243 SF kitchen and cafeteria addition at the school. He has also contributed to the evaluation of conceptual design estimates associated with the planned Colchester Senior Center, which includes relocating the existing senior center to a newly constructed, larger facility.
Additionally, Jon has been involved with the new Turf Field at the Renbrook School, an independent, private day school in West Hartford. CSG is serving as Owner's Project Manager for various projects at the school, including the renovation of the existing library, building envelope/HVAC upgrades, and an athletic field that includes a newly installed synthetic playing surface, scoreboard and upgraded retaining walls.
Jon is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, and spent several years working for construction management firms including KBE Building Corporation, Schimenti Construction Company, and Fortunato Construction Group, Inc., where he developed strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. He recalls putting those skills to work early in his career during a complex renovation program for Target at retail locations throughout the Northeast.
