Samantha plays an invaluable role during the preconstruction and construction phases of the projects she is assigned to. From the initial grant application submission through project close out and audit, her attention to detail and knowledge of the applicable local and state processes come into play in her ability to successfully lead design and construction teams on behalf of her clients. Her strong interpersonal abilities, business acumen and organizational skills make her an invaluable asset to the CSG team. She is particularly knowledgeable in the State of Connecticut Office of School Construction Grants & Review (OSCG&R) processes and procedures, and works collaboratively with team members to ensure comprehensive deliverables and preparedness at all stages of design reviews. Her experience working in the construction industry gives her important insight to apply during the oversight of construction activities. She is experienced in the management of complex, phased renovations constructed at occupied facilities.
Samantha has been around construction her entire life. She recalls growing up with huge trucks pulling in and out of her driveway, and her father heading off to construction sites throughout the state. She says the work ethic she was introduced to at a young age is something she aspires to and continues to motivate her to this day.
