Scope of Work: Facility Addition/Renovation; New Construction
Budget: $40,000,000

Owner’s representative services for the design and construction of several additions/renovations to the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk including the expansion of marine life exhibits and the construction of a new state of the art 4D movie theater at the waterfront complex. This work is being undertaken as part of the replacement of a railroad bridge that previously bisected the Aquarium campus.

Introducing Pinneped Cove

On June 8, 2021, World Oceans Day, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk unveiled its new 160,000 gallon, two-story tank and seal habitat, Pinneped Cove, to the public. The new attraction is one of the biggest renovations to the aquarium in its history. Take a sneak peek at the new space, as well as a time lapse video of the project's construction progress.
