Construction Institute Appoints Jim Giuliano to Board of Directors
December 22nd, 2021
"I am honored to be named to the Construction Institute's Board of Directors, because it provides a unique opportunity to advance and give back to an industry that has been so good to me over the years," explains Jim Giuliano.
You could say that construction is in Jim's DNA. His family owned a masonry business, and from an early age, he began working alongside his brothers and father on job sites during summer vacations. After college, Jim worked as a project manager for prominent construction management firms before taking a pivotal owner's representation position with Capitol Region Education Council in 2007, which led to the founding Construction Solutions Group in 2014.
The Construction Institute is a highly-respected organization in the industry, providing networking opportunities and professional development programs. As a result, the Institute is becoming known nationally as a resource not only for companies directly related to construction, but also for periphery industries such as facilities, legal and financial services.
Jim is excited about the future of the Construction Institute and says, "I would like to see the Institute continue to grow its membership nationally and become a major voice in terms of advocating on behalf of the betterment of the construction industry."
The Construction Institute is looking to Jim's leadership to help reestablish its Owner Forum program. "I am looking forward to working with the Institute's leadership and staff and continue to build on the strong foundation of programs and resources that the organization already provides to the construction industry," says Jim.
In addition to this new appointment, Jim serves as a Board of Trustee member for the Montessori School of Greater Hartford.
