Construction Solutions Group (CSG), a growing owner’s representation and program management firm, is pleased to announce the hire of project manager Jonathan Gombotz, an experienced construction management professional with nearly 20 years of experience on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors.
Since joining the firm in January 2020, Gombotz was involved in overseeing the completion of the new manufacturing annex at Goodwin College. He is actively managing assignments under the firm's on-call construction administration contract with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services, including oversight for work associated with 5,000 SF of bathroom renovations at 410 Capitol Avenue as well as facility upgrade projects for Housatonic and Norwalk Community Colleges.
He is slated to get involved in the coming months with CSG's on-going work on the City of Norwalk school construction program.
Prior to joining the firm, Gombotz served as project manager at Schimenti Construction Company. In this role, he was responsible for retail and commerical construction projects throughout the tristate area.
Prior to Schimenti, he held positions of project manager, project superintendent, assistant project manager and project engineer for firms including Fortunato Construction Group, Construction Resources, Inc., and KBE Building Corporation.
“Jon is a great addition to our growing team of project managers. He brings hands-on knowledge gained over the course of his career in the construction management industry,” describes CSG president Jim Giuliano.
Gombotz is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University's Construction Management program. He resides in Southington with his wife and two children.
