While employed at Capitol Region Education Council (CREC), he provided project oversight for the construction of the John J. Allison, Jr. Polaris Center in East Hartford and the River Street School extension in Coltsville. In addition, he developed the educational specifications and grant applications for seven new magnet schools. His prior experience provides the foundation for his practical, hands-on approach to school construction procedures from design to completion.
