CSG Awarded $12.8M Contract for Hall High School Addition and Renovation
November 22nd, 2017
Having recently served as Clerk of the Works for the new construction of the $43 million LEED Gold-certified Charter Oak International Academy on Oakwood Avenue, West Hartford-based Construction Solutions Group, LLC (CSG) has been awarded a similar contract to perform Owner’s Program Management Services for the $12.8 million William H. Hall High School science classroom addition and renovation project, totaling approximately 30,000 square feet.
CSG’s Vice President, Chris Cykley, who led the Charter Oak project, will serve as project director for the proposed Hall High School improvements.
Since September, CSG has provided support to the buildings and facilities manager, working in cooperation with the West Hartford Board of Education, Town Officials, the Town's contracted Architect, JCJ Architecture, and Construction Manager, Fusco, to administer the construction of classroom improvements.
As owner’s representative, CSG will be responsible for providing comprehensive oversight from the preliminary design phase through close out, ensuring that the project is managed judiciously and maintains complete reimbursement eligibility.
“It is an honor to take on another local project – we live here, we work here, our kids go to school here,” describes Cykely. “We look forward to working closely the Town of West Hartford and the Board of Education on what will prove to be another great project for our community.”
